The product supports UART communication. For an introduction to the communication method, please refer to "Fingerprint Module Communication Protocol"
The data format is 8-bit data bit, 1-bit stop bit, no parity, no flow control, communication default baud rate 115200, baud rate can be dynamically changed during communication, the baud rate that can be selected when changing is 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200.
When the fingerprint module communicates with the system MCU, the circuit is connected as follows. When a finger presses the fingerprint module, WAKEUP outputs a high level, and the WAKEUP signal is a notification signal. After receiving the WAKEUP signal, the system MCU starts the system and outputs a fingerprint module power-on signal. VIN provides 3.3V power supply and then UART communication, which can control the sleep current of the fingerprint module below 10uA. It is also possible to supply both VCC and VIN, which can control the sleep current of the fingerprint module below 15uA.
